HOW TO PLAY

FRAME house rules

Move to aim. Pull back to set power. Release to shoot. On desktop, press the cloth after aiming and drag backward along the cue. On touch, drag the cloth to aim and use the labelled PULL rail. Shoot and Space remain available.

The three paths

Ivory shows the cue-ball approach, amber shows the object-ball path, and cyan shows the cue-ball path after impact. These are estimated paths.

The break

A break is legal when a ball is pocketed or four different object balls reach a rail. The break never assigns groups. The 8 is respotted.

Fouls and the 8

A scratch, wrong first contact, no contact, or no pocket/rail after contact gives the other player ball-in-hand. Pocketing the 8 early, or with a foul, loses.

Level and titles never change ball physics.
